{"id":2202,"date":"2022-04-19T11:56:04","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T15:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saccade.ca\/who-are-we\/"},"modified":"2025-08-20T10:06:46","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T14:06:46","slug":"who-are-we","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/saccade.ca\/en\/who-are-we\/","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Our history<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The SACCADE Autism Center of Excellence\u2122<\/strong> is made up of a multidisciplinary team of autism specialists offering a range of comprehensive services for autistic individuals, their families and caregivers, as well as professionals in the field.<\/p>\n<p>Concept ConsulTED was born under the leadership of Brigitte Harrisson, an autistic person and social worker and Lise St-Charles, an autism professional. The two women first crossed paths in 2003 in the context of their clinical work. From their earliest exchanges, their shared vision of autism and their complementary professional experiences converged, leading them to collaborate on a variety of projects. Lise St-Charles\u2019 professional experience in autism and child development combined with Brigitte Harrisson\u2019s personal experience of autism, alongside her background as a systemic clinician, and so the dynamic duo was created.<\/p>\n<p>Together, they developed tools, comparing their innovative intervention model with the scientific literature. Since then, the SACCADE\u2122 model has proven itself wherever it has been applied.
